Fziomed develops, manufactures, and sells innovative biomaterials designed to improve surgical outcomes. While its products were well known in Europe, the corporate brand was not broadly recognized. As the company prepared for approval in the U.S., it turned to RainCastle to update its entire visual and verbal brand and online presence.

A Fresh, New Visual Identity
We updated the company’s identity, starting with a new Fziomed logo and color palette. The stylized F symbol reinforces the company name while subtly promoting the unique mechanism of action of its dual-polymer formula that sets its products apart from others. The corporate logo was extended and recolored for the family of products.
Our Solution
We conducted a corporate brand messaging workshop, developing a Brand Brief that defines differentiating messages for the company brand. We continued with a similar exercise to develop go-to-market messaging for the company’s family of products.
We designed new logos for the company’s product line to create a consistent, branded look across all specialties. We incorporated the stylized F symbol to reinforce the link to the Fziomed company brand while giving each product a distinct colorway.
We extended the brand look and feel to market packaging for each of the company’s products targeting different surgical specialties. Use of the stylized F symbol as a graphical element reinforces the Fziomed brand, while the different colorways reinforce each product brand.
Leveraging the visual and verbal brand work, we crafted a new website that provides an improved user experience with intuitive navigation. Tabbed areas accommodate robust content with minimal scrolling. The home page gel animation reinforces a key brand message while creating visual interest.
A key function of the website is providing access to marketing resources for Fziomed’s distributors. Our development team created a password-protected portal that offers secure and convenient access to materials, organized in a logical way for ease of use.
To support Fziomed’s field sales efforts, we designed a colorful trade show booth that makes clever use of the Fziomed stylized F element. And we wrote and designed product collateral for each of the products, maintaining a consistent branded identity.
Outcome
Fziomed now has a comprehensive and consistent brand identity and voice for both the company and its products. As Fziomed prepares for its U.S. launch, it is well prepared to enter the market with a distinctive, contemporary brand that positions the company as the established innovator that it is.
