RainCastle Launches New Patient Safety Online Tool, Animated Video and Website for The Betsy Lehman Center
We’re proud to announce the culmination of a year-long collaboration between RainCastle and the Betsy Lehman Center; a powerful, first-of-its-kind, online patient safety tool, an educational animated video about the Root Causes of medical errors and a new “responsive website” in which the tool and video are housed.
The online tool, which we named “Patient Safety Navigator,” makes it easier for Massachusetts health care providers – from hospitals to long-term care facilities, to navigate state and federal requirements for reporting adverse events. Broken down into three sections, the Patient Safety Navigator guides providers through best practices for Analyzing, Communicating and Reporting adverse events.
The “Root Cause” animated video provides engaging, educational content specifically around addressing the root causes for medical errors in Cataract surgery. The animated video was part of a comprehensive program including a Root Cause infographic and in-depth Report.
The new, Responsive, Betsy Lehman website is a comprehensive medical resource for providers, patients and government entities with regard to best practices in patient safety for Massachusetts.
