The DCF Group is a financial services company that provides expert business and transaction valuation services, tax and financial reporting, and real estate appraisals for clients in the technology and science spaces.

Familiar with RainCastle’s work for another client, the DCF Group, then branded as the DiFilippo Corporate Finance Group, came to us seeking to rebrand them as DCF group and to create a new website for the newly branded entity.

In our interviews with the DCF team, we learned that they were headquartered in Newburyport, MA by the ocean and that the owner of the firm is a boat afficionado.

To help distinguish the brand and website from myriad Boston area financial firms, we infused the design with a strong nautical identity and where appropriate wrote copy that sprinkled in nautical terminology to emphasize business points. Of note is the burgee flag on the home page and the use of water droplet shapes for photography.

In addition to the logo and website, we created social media pages, stationery system, PowerPoint deck, and Excel and Word templates to complete a cohesive visual design system.
